Tom Calabrese joined Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty in 1998 after a 35 year career with Verizon Communications. At Verizon he was a member of the senior executive team which involved various supervisory responsibilities including Vice President of Upstate New York, Vice President of Long Island, with responsibility for 3000 people, and managing director of Human Resources.

Since joining Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, Tom has supervised the company’s operations including overseeing legal matters, acquisitions, human resources and operating budgets.

Tom has stated that the fine ethics established long ago by Pat Petersen and the Gale Family are the main factors that drew him to the company, which has dominated Long Island’s North Shore since 1922.

Tom is active in the larger community and serves on the Board of the Roslyn Savings Foundation, acts as Chair of the Caumsett Foundation and along with Pat Petersen, sits on the Advisory Board of the DNA Learning Center at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
