Melissa Stark
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT & CEO

As Executive Assistant to President Patricia Petersen and Chief Executive Officer Deirdre O’Connell, Melissa’s responsibilities encompass a wide range of administrative, management and other duties inside the executive offices. Her attention to detail and work ethic made her a valued member of the corporate team. She is also an important resource for the organization’s sales managers, coordinating meetings, training new administrative staff and acting as a liaison for the Chief Executive. Melissa coordinates community events, industry conferences and corporate events throughout the company. Her role includes all aspects of planning and execution of these events, which include Gold Circle of Excellence, Silver Circle of Accomplishment and Sterling Circle of Achievement celebrations. These celebrations provide recognition and rewards for top producing real estate advisors along with networking and other business development opportunities. Corporate charitable contributions and sponsorships also fall under Melissa’s purview, including Pink Aid Long Island, Huntington Hospital, and The Heckscher Museum of Arts.

In addition to her work in Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s corporate office, Melissa is a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. She and her husband, Will, have built their business by helping family, friends, and neighbors with all of their real estate needs.

Prior to joining Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty in 2016, Melissa worked in business management and administrative support roles for Barnum Premier Client Group and J. P. Morgan Chase. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree in Dance Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute. She is a longtime resident of Huntington.
