Bio

Daren Debel is a consummate professional with years of experience overseeing all aspects of the real estate industry. From opening the first New York City branch of a Florida-based real estate firm in 2009 to his swift rise to success as a top agent at Citi Habitats, real estate was the catalyst for the development of Daren’s intrinsic leadership and entrepreneurial abilities. In his current role as Managing Director of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s Astoria/LIC office, Daren brings a level of business savvy and inspirational drive which are key to building successful teams. With his strong marketplace knowledge and enterprising skills, Daren hopes to create a powerful synergistic environment when training and coaching agents. He relishes in being a strong mentor and a coach, and this is reflected in his prior years as a manager before joining Daniel Gale where he successfully recruited 200 agents within a two-year period and coached over 50 agents; from enabling them to get a head start right out of the gate and becoming top agents to eventually guiding them in building successful teams. Over the years, Daren has helped agents build successful systems to work with FSBOs, Expired Listings, Empty Nesters, First Time Home Buyers, Geographic Farming.

Always a team player, Daren found success early on as a real estate agent by being sure his clients were well-informed with no surprises. Known for his skills as a great communicator, he built a reputation for being trustworthy and committed throughout every step of the process of buying or selling a client’s home. Daren applies this same approach with his agents, committed to their growth and ultimate success. The company’s vision and belief of “Better Together” is a perfect fit for his own philosophy.

When Daren isn’t at the office, he spends time with his two kids with whom you can likely find at the local ice cream parlor devouring a cone or two. Also a sports fan, on any given Sunday, Daren can sometimes be caught rooting for his hometown Giants or maybe even bashing a little white ball around on the golf course. Not one to stay put, Daren has also traveled to over 16 countries on 3 continents, his favorite being South Africa followed closely by Morrocco’s alluring city of Marrakesh, and Italy’s breathtaking Amalfi Coast. Originally from Long Island, Daren is happy to be serving the neighborhoods he was born and raised in while grateful for the rigorous learning and experience afforded in Manhattan’s diverse real estate market.
