About Anthony
I am a native of Tipperary, Ireland. At age 20 I moved to London, where I spent 4 wonderful years. I loved exploring its many parks and neighborhoods and classic old architecture. From there, my dream of living in America became a reality and within 5 months of arriving here, I had the honor of joining the US Navy. Although mainly based in San Diego, I spent time in Asia and on an aircraft carrier in the western Pacific. After the Navy in 1998, my New York adventure began. Intending to stay only a couple of weeks, I discovered Park Slope Brooklyn and have never left. I live on a beautiful park block in mid Slope, but some may think I live in the park, as I am there biking, walking, and playing sports constantly. The Brooklyn Bridge is my favorite manmade structure in the world, and I walk and bike across it frequently. I love my neighborhood and the park, and I enjoy volunteering and supporting local organizations. I am an avid cyclist and hiker and have traveled extensively.

I have worked in real estate since coming to New York and before joining Sotheby’s, I had my own small business, Fanning Realty, for many years. I am a people person and enjoy guiding people through the sales and rental process. I have built up a great knowledge and understanding of my profession and feel my experience can benefit all parties involved in a real estate transaction. I know and understand the local market and look forward to sharing that with you.
My favorite quote is on the back of my London Marathon medal, “Life is a journey not a destination".
