About Monica
Monica, a first generation American, second generation Realtor was born in Queens, New York, to a family of entrepreneurs. Her mother, Agnes, opened her first real estate office in the seventies and moved her office to Long Island in the eighties. You can say Monica was born into this business; only a week after her birth she was at her first closing. Hard work was instilled from the very start, like her mother, she never stops. She will ensure your real estate needs are met from start to finish. As a child Monica and her siblings, a sister and two brothers, would often be found working in their parent’s office or on a home renovation project. She spent most of her childhood working alongside her family in the industry, from filing the multiple listing inventory to answering phones and going on appointments with her mother. She grew knowledgeable about the real estate market in her area, and after being raised in a family of independent business owners; she quickly came to the realization that real estate was also her passion in life. As her mother would say, “she had a way with the customers, she would greet and smile at them, then start asking them a ton of questions. Monica would even take them on her own tour of the home and made sure they looked in every nook and cranny and then asked them what they thought afterwards. You could tell she had a real knack for the real estate business and customers loved her. I can honestly say she probably sold a few homes for me as a child, no one could resist her charm.” In 1996 Monica graduated from high school and immediately went to work in real estate. After a year in sales, she decided to pursue a career in finance, where she became a loan officer, learning the other side of the business. She also had the opportunity to work in retail banking where she met her husband. At the age of nineteen she rented her first apartment in the Village of Port Jefferson. She then purchased her first home in the prestigious Three Village Community at the early age of twenty four, making her a resident of the North Shore for almost two decades. Monica truly brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to all your residential real estate needs and still works with her mother and sister today. Whether you’re buying or selling, you can count on her honesty, integrity and most of all her passion to make help make your real estate transaction the very best experience possible.
