James Reid

James is excited to start his real estate career with Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, an agency continually recognized for its high level of service, dedication to clients, and expertise in real estate operations. James has worked as a Guidance Counselor in Kew Gardens, Queens since 2016, a role which has taught him the importance of trust, reliability, and adaptability when working with individuals and families. James has dedicated his professional career towards helping others and is confident that his experience as a Guidance Counselor will provide a sound foundation in client relations and in establishing positive relationships with diverse groups of people.

James graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. James also volunteers at the Bronx Academy for Software Engineering as a mentor for a high school student focused on high school graduation and college awareness.

James has experienced firsthand the professional Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty demonstrates as his mother, Teresa Reid, has worked as agent with DGSIR since 2013. James has learned from his mom the profound impact real estate agents can have on others and is looking forward to working alongside her. James will approach his position as a real estate agent with a positive attitude, diligent work ethic, and attention to detail to ensure his client’s needs are met.
