Founded upon a rich historical background

#6
Founded upon a rich historical background

Sea Cliff has a rich history shaped by people of many different cultures and backgrounds; this contributes to its present diverse and accepting atmosphere.

Sea Cliff’s land was acquired through a series of acquisitions which slowly but surely completed its “one square mile” structure. The village was originally a campsite for various religious groups to reside and caused people of different faiths to be welcoming and friendly towards one another. This unity is a feeling preserved in the community today.

Sea Cliff’s history is unbeknown to most, yet widely acknowledged throughout town. A selection of Sea Cliff’s parks, homes, and trees are historical landmarks and are accredited by informational plaques.

Want to find out more about Sea Cliff’s rich history? Visit the Sea Cliff Village Museum, home to a collection of artifacts “relating to the unique historical background of the village.”
