Garden City is a village in Nassau County that offers some of the most comfortable living opportunities on all of Long Island. It is comprised of the incorporated areas of Garden City and Garden City Estates, as well as the unincorporated areas of East Garden City, Garden City South and Garden City Park. The area saw a housing boom in the 1920s that slowed after the stock market crash in 1929.
