Bio

Scott Van Son utilizes his prior professional experience and knowledge to give his clients the highest level of customer service possible. Whether you are buying or selling a home, Scott's patience and listening ability will be necessary for a successful real estate closing.
Scott was born in Huntington and lived in Lloyd Harbor until graduating from Cold Spring Harbor High School in 1989. He then graduated from the school of management at Boston University with a BS/BA in Business Administration. After college Scott moved to New York City where he started his family and worked for Pershing Llc., A subsidiary of Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. After fourteen years and several corporate mergers later, Scott retired from The Bank of New York, and he and his family moved back to Lloyd Harbor. His wife, Bernadette, works as a foreign exchange salesperson for Barclays, and now for Merrill Lynch Bank of America. Scott was a "stay at home dad" for five years until their children started school. Their two children currently attend Lloyd Harbor Elementary school.
Scott is active in the community serving for two years as the PTG Treasurer at Goosehill Primary School. Currently Scott is a Community Committee Member with the Cold Spring Harbor Foundation. This is a non-profit that benefits the local high school.
Scott's familiarity with Huntington and the North Shore of Long Island can benefit both buyers and sellers.
