At that time Daniel Gale had two offices, in Cold Spring Harbor and Huntington, New York. Pat went on to manage the Daniel Gale Cold Spring Harbor office and was appointed Relocation Director and General Manager in 1983. She was named Vice President and General Manager in 1985 and President and CEO in 1991.

A frequent lecturer and national spokesperson for the industry, Pat Petersen serves on the advisory boards of several national and international professional organizations, including Sotheby's International Realty and The Brain Trust (an international organization of leading women real estate broker/owners).
